Aloha, Spring Chickens! I'm here today with a Retro Review of the fabulous Alternate Normality! Alternate Normality, established January 2013, is an amazing accessory run by the gorgeous Holly who is a vintage-loving gal who is passionate about creating stand-out kitsch and rockabilly style accessories for dames who aren't afraid to make a statement!
I was lucky enough to be sent a gorgeous selection of colourful pieces - all of which I LOVE. The one thing that really stood out to me whilst browsing their site is the shoe clips. They aren't something that I usually spot on accessory sites which is strange as they are so simple but so effective. I am one of those girls who wears the same pair of black heels all the time due to simplicity, but mainly comfort - so having a pair of shoe clips to jazz them up is just essential. They completely transform my boring old shoes and turn them into something kitsch and cute in a matter of seconds. Another amazing plus is that they are so affordable ranging from £5-£8! My floral strawberry shoe clips are just £6.50.
Other than my cute as a button shoe clips, I was also sent a Ivory Double Peony Hair Flower
(£5.50), my own custom made fruity hair piece (About £7.00) and Felt Bow Fascinator in Pink (£6.00). As you can see, Alternate Normality are SUPER affordable! All accessories are hand made to order so you have to allow up to 5 days before dispatch but Holly does offer an 'express shipping' option if you need something sooner. There are some gorgeous pieces in for summer and I can't wait to get my hands on more! Especially some hair flowers, more shoe clips and some cardigan clips. Swoon!
