Aloha... Or should I say Ahoy!! I hope you're all well! Banjo & Cake was kind enough to contact me to see whether I was interested in being sent some stuff from their current line and also a sneak peek of their new AW15 line that is being released from mid-July to mid-September. Now, I have to be honest Banjo & Cake wouldn't usually be exactly my style as it's a little more 'alternative' than what I'm used to but they really do have some gorgeous gems in their collection that will definitely appeal to the more Pin-Up market.
Living by the seaside, I am naturally a big fan of anything nautical and Banjo & Cake definitely have an amazing selection of sailor & sea themed clothing. When I first went onto the site, the initial things that stood out to me were their gorgeous bikinis! But alas, I am pregnant so I had to be sensible in my choosings :-) I've definitely got my eye on them for next summer though!

When I first received my parcel, the first thing I noticed was the quality... I wasn't expecting it to be so good, if I'm honest. The details, such as the buttons and embroidered motifs, really make this brand stand out to others I've seen. I picked the nautical off-shoulder top shown on the post, the Nautical Cropped Cardigan and the Sea Garden Bee's Knee's Skirt.
It only seemed appropriate to take my photo's in no other place than my local sea front! We found an old washed up boat and a rusty old sea shed that we thought looked perfect with my outfit!
