OOTD: Sweet like chocolate... ft. Vendula London

Aloha, honeys! Even before I got into the whole retro thing... I was a sucker for anything kitsch so when Vendula London contacted me to see if I would like to feature one of their bags on my blog I was delighted. I had admittedly never heard of the brand before but I had definitely seen their iconic bags in various independent shops and because they are so recognizable it was easy to tell they were  by Vendula London. Upon browsing their site, my heart instantly longed for one of their infamous 'Grab Bags'. They are bags that look like various buildings from a pub to a sushi bar to a tea room to a florist to a perfumers - there is really something for everyone. I chose the Chocolatiers bag because... well, you know... chocolate. Also the fact that it is a gorgeous pink which is my favourite colour. Now what's not to love about a bag that combines my two favourite things?!

When it came to styling this bag, I *instantly* knew what to pair it with. Hmmm... What could go with a pink bag that also goes with the chocolate theme... My Pinup Girl Clothing Harlequin Jenny Skirt in Chocolate Brown and Red (with lots of pink too!) of course! I decided to finish this kick-ass outfit off with a pink cropped fluffy jumper that I got a couple of years ago from good ol' Primark. I love this outfit and think the gorgeous bag ties everything together beautifully. I also kept with my as-always 60's vibes with a half-up-half-down beehive and my awesome Luxulite pink hoops.

The bag itself is superb quality. I was actually pleasantly surprised as sometimes more kitsch themed clothes/bags can be slightly lesser quality than say a plain black leather bag. It came packaged in a logo'ed dust bag which again was a really nice touch. As well as the standard short handles, it also comes with an additional long shoulder strap with is essential for me as I always prefer a longer strap so I can be hands free.

The Chocolatiers Grab Bag is surprisingly roomy and practical which is something I always look for. I can't be using those teeny-weeny-can-only-fit-lipstick-in clutch bags. The more crap I can fit in it the better :'D, especially as I'm a mum now (excuse for more crap!).

The little white hanging sign on the bag is actually 3d... It swings on the chains! Amaze!

Thanks for reading my post and do give Vendula London a peek as they have some seriously gorgeous bags & purses. They would make the perfect gift, especially for Mothers Day!

All my love,

I Love Autumn!

Aloha, Pumpkins! I hope you're all doing well and staying suitably wrapped up now that the temperature has dropped! Today's post is something I have been wanting to do for a while, but due to moving house and lack of internet, it delayed it slightly. Autumn is my favourite season and I wanted to do a whole post dedicated to why it makes me excited every year! I ventured out on the hunt for some browning leaves to take some fun photo's to accompany this post and of course I couldn't do an autumnal post without the mandatory 'throwing leaves in the air' photo, now could I?
These are my top five reasons why I LOVE AUTUMN! I've also included some seasonal recommendations and even some recipes for you, too :-).

OOTD: Purple Harlequin

Aloha, sweet peas! I hope you're enjoying the UK sun we have had over the last few days! I certainly have.  Today's outfit post has to be one of my favourites! Sometimes, I like to create an outfit around one piece of clothing and this time it was one of my beloved Pinup Girl Clothing Harlequin Jenny Skirts in Purple. These skirts have revolutionized my wardrobe! Initially, when I first got them I thought they wouldn't get much wear as I thought they'd be really hard to style, but boy was I wrong! They match with so much because the colour palette of the pattern features a lot of shades and tones.
I love this outfit because it is so so simple, but I still felt sassy as hell! And I just adore how the purple contrasts with my copper hair. Also, my first outfit post featuring the most amazing-incredible-beautiful-fancy-drop-dead-gorgeous bag I have ever laid eyes on that is the bag I designed myself and was made by the amazing Dots N' Bows. It just so happened to go perfectly with my outift ;)

Fabulous Favourites: January!

Aloha, peaches! Today's post is a favourites as I feel like I've been loving the same few things for quite a while now so I feel it's only appropriate to share them with you! I've got some exciting things coming up on the blog soon including lots of reviews, 2 Girls 1 Dress and lots of outfit posts. I apologize for the lack of posts recently - It's just hard when it's pitch black when you get home and wake up and you work 5 days a week! I will get better, I promise! <3

2 Girls 1 Dress - With Miss Amy May {Lavender Jenny}

Aloha! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and you have a fabulous New Year! 2015 is just a blink away. Me and my lovely blogging friend Miss Amy May, who is also a British Belle and just so happens to live down the road have decided to put our dress-loving heads together to create a series called '2 Girls 1 Dress' (Hahaha I know what you're thinking - get your head out of the gutter!) as we realised we have a good few of the same dresses. Miss Amy May is a shoe-bedazzling, hair-pretty-making BABE and let's be honest, I'm sure you already probably fan-girl over her PUG collection on a daily basis. So each post in this series will be a darling mash up of an outfit post, review and collaboration. What's great is that we both have slightly different styles and we are also different sizes so you can get two honest varying opinions. We will speak about the fit, styling and just give a general over view of the dress. Our first dress we will be posting about is the Lavender Jenny Dress by Pinup Girl Clothing. Me and Amy are both big fans of the Jenny range... To be honest, I think every Pinup is!

OOTD: A Match Made In Heaven! Featuring The Oblong Box

A very festive Aloha to all of my lovely readers today! Four days til' Christmas! Are we all wrapped and ready to go yet? (I'm not! Oops!). Today, I bring you an OOTD with two pieces that were just a match made in heaven. Do you ever have those days where you put an outfit together and you just think 'Daaaaaaamn! They were made for each other!' Just me? Well this outfit was one of one those. The top matched perfectly with my harlequin skirt. And I know, some of you will be wincing at my choice to wear jelly shoes and tights, but I couldn't resist seeing as they were the exact same colour as my top! Who cares! I loved this outfit, but I can't wait to wear it in Summer without tights and a coat to ruin it.
I also have a little special guest in boyfriend-form at the end who will be featuring in some of my outfit posts when I can get him to :-D!

Mini Post: My Pinup Girl Clothing Black Friday Haul!

Aloha, lovelies! Black Friday just happened all over the world and oh was it a good one! Pretty much every online retail shop had discounts - some big, some small. I pretty much only had my eyes for one site during the sale antics and that was Pinup Girl Clothing (PUG). A shop that every pin up loving girl adores. I haven't met one yet that isn't lusting after something from there. I only own a couple of dresses that I've either gotten second hand or from eBay but the one I do have I am besotted with - in particular my orange printed Jenny dress. Purchasing PUG in the UK is quite a challenge due to the fact that there are minimal stockists and the places that do stock it have very high mark up prices that rarely go on sale and if you want to order from the PUG website you're going to have to expect international shipping costs and customs charges. However, the quality, sizing and designs are just the best you can get. So when I saw PUG were doing 30% off everything INCLUDING SALE I just couldn't say no. I asked my parents if I could have some money for PUG clothes instead of a present for Christmas and they agreed much to my happiness. I pretty much didn't look outside of the sale section (Apart from one thing, but you'll see all about it later!!!) as I wanted to get as much as I could for the budget I had and to be honest the sale section was pretty damn awesome itself (All I'm saying is harlequin) so I was pretty satisfied with what I got!
